01 The brief
Hind & Osen is a PR and marketing consultancy for the landscape and garden design industries, founded by Suzanne Hind and Theresa Osen. They run campaigns for garden designers, landscape companies, urban regeneration projects and brands in horticulture, and have worked with sponsors and designers at the RHS Shows for well over a decade.
02 What I did
I built the site at KIN, the studio I co-directed, where I was the developer. It is a custom WordPress theme with a calm, editorial layout that lets the gardens take centre stage.
Video-led homepage. The homepage opens with a background video of gardens (Vide) beside the consultancy’s strapline.
RHS Shows. A dedicated section for the show gardens they have worked on, with embedded films.
Clients and case studies. Current clients and past projects, each with the story of the campaign.
Testimonials, journal and Instagram. Client testimonials, a journal for news, and a live Instagram feed on the homepage.
Fast with lots of photography. Images load lazily (lazysizes) as visitors scroll.
03 The result
The site gives Hind & Osen a showcase as considered as the gardens they promote, and one the team keeps up to date with new clients, shows and journal posts.
